This is a list of some of the beautiful animals that you might see during your trip to the Temperate Grasslands.
Fox- These animals are well suited because they are hunters that eat whatever they can find. They also enjoy to roam. On your trip you could see one of these majestic animals roaming the prairies, but don't get to close or you'll scare them off.
Prairie Dog- These animals are well suited because they commonly eat earthworms and also dig burrows in the ground. While on your trip you probably won't see these small animals because they enjoy to live in their burrows underground. Their burrows also use as shelter and protection.
Gopher- These animals are well suited because they live in the burrows they dig underground and eat the grasses and plants that are found in the temperate grasslands. While on your trip you could possibly see one of these beautiful animals, but you will have to make sure you look closely because they are hard to spot.
Black-footed Ferret- These animals are well suited because they need to hunt animals and there is plenty of animals to hunt in the temperate grasslands. While on your visit you will more than likely never see one of these because they are such a small animal.
Coyote- These animals are well suited because they will almost eat anything and love to roam which the temperate grassland has plenty of. While you are on your visit you will most likely not see a coyote unless you happen to come across on in the evening or night hours.
Bison- These animals are well suited because they feed of the grasses found in the temperate grasslands. While you are on your visit here you will most likely find the bison traveling in herds and taking frequent stops to eat.
Antelope- These animals are well suited because they live off of grass and different seeds which are found in the temperate grasslands.You might find the wondering the prairies while you are on your trip.
